Roku is coming out with an app of adding the capabilities similar to Samsung’s Frame TV to display painting and photographic art digital images when the set is not in use. This is called backdrops. While it may not have the same features as the Frame TV, it should provide the opportunity to have somewhat the same functionality on other TVs. It will probably also be cheaper than those furniture pieces that allow the TV to be raised and lowered as an option for hiding the TV when not in use also.
