Whether it’s a graduation, birthday, anniversary (shame on you 😊) or party, everyone has had that last minute need for a gift. I have had it happen on many occasions. Some people address it by telling the person that they will need to get them something and give it to them later only to never give it to them. Maybe it is intentional but most of the time, being optimistic, they just forget. How can this problem be solved without putting it off for a later date? The problem can be solved with a last minute gift, of course.

With a day-of, last minute gift the person doesn’t need to feel forgotten. You also don’t risk forgetting them, which is the best reason to get a last minute gift.

Here are five last minute gift ideas:

1. Gift cards – This one is no surprise but is still a good option, especially a digital ecard, which can be sent if you can’t make it or you are already with the gift recipient.
2. Money – Again this is not a surprise but, if you subscribe to this blog, I will give you access to a video of a unique way that you can present it that doesn’t look or feel last minute at all.
3. Downloadables or file downloads that include:
   • a) art print downloads – a file that you can download and print on the medium of your choice and use to display on a TV, background on a monitor, etc.. according to the purchase terms. Printing it on canvas, glass, metal, etc.. may need to be done later but you could put it on a TV or other device immediately.
   • b) sticker sheets downloads – this is a downloadable sticker or sticker sheet that can be printed on full sheet sticker paper and cut out using a fine cutting tool. **You could also send the stickers sheet to a print service to print for you if you don’t have a printer or just don’t want to do it yourself.  Another use the gift recipient would have for this, that they don’t have with an already printed sticker, is importing the stickers file into a note taking or journaling or other template app for personal use. They would use it according to purchase terms of course.
   • c) greeting card or cards downloads – These could be used as greeting cards of course, note cards, reminder cards or personal use template according to purchase terms. I have seen stories of people putting a card in lunchboxes, etc .. with a handwritten note that you could call a just because note(?).
